We believe in giving fair opportunity for parents to dress our baby and children with a quality and affordable organic, eco-friendly or bio-degrabable fabric materials that are safe and comfortable.
Our fabric consist of organic cotton with GOTS certificate, bamboo cotton and lyocell (TENCEL®) which is smooth natural fibers made out of sustainable fibers from Eucalyptus Trees.
Our fabrics are suitable for sensitive skin, irritation free, breathable, anti-microbial, and anti-fungal.
Organic Cotton is grown using methods and materials that have a low impact on the environment. Organic production systems replenish and maintain soil fertility and build biologically diverse agriculture. Third-party certification organizations verify that organic producers use only methods and materials allowed in organic production. Organic cotton is grown without the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and synthetic fertilizers.
Bamboo grows incredibly quickly, both the natural and the industrial culture of this plant is achieved without the use of any pesticides or fertilizers. Growing at a rate of up to a foot a day, bamboo reaches its maximum height in about 3 months and reaches maturity in 3-7 years. Its stunning, low maintenance, growth rate coupled with its myriad uses in every element of human existence makes it arguably the most sustainable resource on earth. Bamboo fabrics are naturally smooth, soft, and feel like silk on the skin.
Tencel® (generic name lyocell)
Is a sustainable fabric, regenerated from wood cellulose. It is similar in hand to rayon and bamboo, both regenerated fabrics.
Tencel is grown sustainably
But, unlike rayon and bamboo, Tencel’s supply chain is transparent. It is obtained from eucalyptus trees that are grown on farms—no old growth forests, genetic manipulation, irrigation, nor pesticides are used. These forests and the pulp produced for Tencel have earned Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification that the products come from socially and environmentally responsible forests. The European Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification has also endorsed Tencel's farming practices as sustainable.
Tencel eliminates the negative environmental impacts of traditionally made rayon
Tencel has some distinct advantages over traditional rayon. Rayon manufacturing generates highly polluting air and water emissions and uses catalytic agents containing cobalt or manganese. Processing rayon causes a strong, unpleasant odor.
Tencel fabric processing is environmentally friendly
The cellulose or ground pulp used for Tencel is treated in what is known as a closed loop process in which non-toxic organic solvents are recycled with a recovery rate of 99.5% and bleach is not required. The tiny amount of remaining emissions is decomposed in biological purification plants. The fabric manufacturing process was awarded the “European Award for the Environment” by the European Union.
TENCEL® fabric carries the Oeko Tex 100 certification, an international standard developed in 1992 to certify that it contains no harmful substances. Tencel also has been awarded the European Community Eco-label flower for products and services with reduced environmental impacts.
Tencel clothing is comfortable
Tencel fibers are spun into yarns and then woven into textiles that are soft, absorbent, very strong when wet or dry, resistant to wrinkles and drape well. Tencel lends these qualities to the fabrics with which it is blended. It is often blended with natural fabrics such as hemp, cotton and wool.
